"Morgan Wallen Accused of Reckless Endangerment Incident on Broadway"

In Nashville, Tennessee, country music sensation Morgan Wallen found himself behind bars on Sunday evening, following accusations of hurling a chair from the upper level of a Broadway establishment. As detailed in the arrest report, the 30-year-old Wallen was spotted atop Chief’s Bar around 10:45 p.m. Witnesses observed him seizing a chair, tossing it over the roof's edge, and evidently finding humor in the act. Positioned six stories above Broadway, the rooftop served as the scene for this alleged incident. Metro Nashville Police Department officers stationed below on Broadway recounted how the chair narrowly missed them, landing a mere three feet away, according to the affidavit. Collaborating accounts from bar personnel, eyewitnesses, and surveillance footage further corroborated Wallen's purported actions, as outlined in the affidavit. Following his arrest shortly after 12:30 a.m., Wallen faced charges of three counts of felony reckless endangerment and one count of disorderly conduct—a misdemeanor. After posting a bond of $15,250, he was released from Davidson County jail around 3:30 a.m. In response to the incident, Wallen's attorney, Worrick Robinson, issued the following statement: "At 10:53 p.m. on Sunday evening, Morgan Wallen was arrested in downtown Nashville for reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct. He is fully cooperating with authorities." Notably, Chief's Bar, where the alleged incident occurred, is owned by fellow country music artist Eric Church and had just celebrated its grand opening over the weekend. Wallen is scheduled to appear in court on May 3, coinciding with the second day of his three-day performance stint at Nissan Stadium."
